[Berkshire Hathaway's Q2 Net Profit Doubles Year-on-Year, Alphabet Becomes Top Holding] According to reports from Cailian Press, Berkshire Hathaway's net profit attributable to shareholders for the second quarter of 2026 reached $25.667 billion, compared to $12.37 billion in the same period last year. Operating profit for the second quarter was $12.983 billion, up from $11.16 billion in the same period last year; investment income was $12.684 billion, compared to $4.97 billion in the same period last year. Additionally, cash reserves dropped to $364.7 billion, down from $397 billion in the first quarter. As of June 30, the fair value of its fixed-income securities investments reached $17.034 billion, including fair values of $3.002 billion in U.S. Treasury bonds, $12.668 billion in foreign bonds, and $1.364 billion in corporate bonds.
