The immigration policies of major developed countries around the world actually operate on two parallel tracks. One is the official immigration policy, with all kinds of high requirements; the other is specifically designed to absorb low-skilled labor, which manifests as 'illegal immigration.' Otherwise, how do you explain why these countries almost universally open their doors to let 'illegal immigrants' in? It's a fact that low-end jobs in Western countries are often shunned by locals and rely on foreign immigrants to fill them. Meanwhile, immigrants who enter through legal visas obviously don't want to—or are capable enough to avoid—doing those low-end jobs. Instead, they compete with locals for jobs that aren't so low-end, exacerbating local unemployment. The problem is that in the process of bringing in 'low-end immigrants,' they’ve targeted the wrong groups, introducing a bunch of welfare-dependent troublemakers. These people are symbolic of certain groups—you know what I mean, I won’t say anything politically incorrect. Even Elon Musk has said that for Western countries, the best immigrants come from East Asia—China, Japan, Korea—because they’re hardworking, don’t cause trouble, and have low crime rates. In fact, immigrants from Southeast Asia, like Vietnam and the Philippines, are also excellent. Filipino immigrants, for instance, reportedly have the highest average income among U.S. immigrants, surpassing those from China and India. The whole world basically knows where the best workers are! And these workers also realize that even though they’re doing labor-intensive jobs, they can still live decent lives. The only issue is: the powerful backing behind you—that’s something others are still a bit wary of.
