Eastern Time: Starts Sunday at 9:00 PM and ends Friday at 8:00 PM. NYSE Arca, under the New York Stock Exchange, is also advancing a similar near-23-hour trading structure: Daytime session: Eastern Time 4:00 AM–8:00 PM (integrating the existing pre-market, regular, and after-hours trading; regular market hours remain 9:30 AM–4:00 PM). 1-hour break: Eastern Time 8:00 PM–9:00 PM, for system clearing, data processing, corporate actions, and maintenance. New nighttime session: Eastern Time 9:00 PM–4:00 AM. Now it’s just a weekend and holiday gap away from the crypto market’s 24/7 schedule.
