Every time I chat with @zakk_okx, the boss always says he's in 'seclusion mode' developing something, and he never forgets to add, 'Something big is coming!' I've given the boss quite a few suggestions, and surprisingly, we often end up on the same wavelength when it comes to trending tech narratives and product extensions.
Over the past couple of days, I've seen a lot of people sharing operational data from @XLayerOfficial, including:
1) Stablecoin issuance exceeding $2 billion;
2) DeFi TVL surpassing $100 million;
3) Total active addresses exceeding 4.2 million;
4) Over 400 million on-chain transactions, and more.
This might seem like a milestone, but achieving this in the deep bear market over the past year is no small feat. Take the stablecoin USDG, for example. I remember during the last offline event in Hangzhou, @Haiteng_okx kept mentioning how XLayer has many understated but steadily growing metrics, with USDG being the most typical example. It's a compliant stablecoin regulated in Singapore, and unlike other stablecoins, it hasn't gone all out with aggressive marketing. It's more of a low-key but promising highlight.
As for the cumulative active addresses and on-chain transaction volume, they’re somewhat related to the recently promoted Agentic wallet. Although not a huge amount, I personally initiated dozens of transactions as an Agent and had a lot of fun with it. But the real driver behind the numbers is probably the highly successful World Cup prediction event. That single event attracted hundreds of thousands of participants and generated 136 million transactions, making a significant contribution to the XLayer ecosystem.
When you look at the details, you can really see where all this accumulated data is coming from. The boss also mentioned that in mid-August, there will be a wave of innovative ecosystem features tied to http://OKX.AI, which could bring some exciting surprises to the native crypto market. Can’t wait, can’t wait!
