X Launches Original Content Rewards Program

Foresight News reports that X has announced the launch of the 'Original Content Rewards Program,' aimed at rewarding creators who provide original insights, professional analysis, reporting, and creative content. Additionally, X will stop accepting new applications for the revenue-sharing program. Existing users who are part of the revenue-sharing program can continue earning revenue until September 7, 2026, and starting from September 8, they can apply to join the new Original Content Rewards Program. Under the new program, eligible creators will earn revenue based on the valid exposure generated by their original content. Revenue will be calculated based on the valid exposure of original content and will be distributed every two weeks. To apply for the Original Content Rewards Program, the following criteria must be met: - Be at least 18 years old; - Reside in a country or region where the program is supported; - Have an account in good standing with no ongoing record of rule violations; - Use a personal or business account; - Subscribe to X Premium, Premium+, or Premium Business; - Have at least 500 verified followers; - Achieve at least 500,000 Home Timeline impressions from verified users in the past 90 days; - Regularly publish original content.
