**[Analysis: Korean PCB Manufacturers See Q2 Performance Surge, AI Servers and SOCAMM to Drive Next Growth Engine]**
BlockBeats News, August 8 — Citrini analyst Jukan stated that Korean PCB/packaging substrate manufacturers are expected to sustain their strong Q2 performance, with Q3 profit forecasts further improving. For example, Daeduck Electronics reported Q2 revenue of 401 billion KRW, a year-on-year increase of 63%, and operating profit of 70.3 billion KRW, a staggering year-on-year growth of 3,599%. Simmtech posted Q2 revenue of 514.6 billion KRW, up 51% year-on-year, and operating profit of 62.9 billion KRW, a year-on-year increase of 1,035%. TLB recorded Q2 revenue of 88.2 billion KRW, a year-on-year growth of 38%, and operating profit of 12.8 billion KRW, up 86% year-on-year.
Jukan highlighted that Daeduck Electronics' core strengths lie in FC-BGA and FC-CSP semiconductor packaging substrates required for AI data centers, as well as multilayer PCBs (MLB). Simmtech focuses on packaging substrates and storage module PCBs, while TLB primarily supplies server DDR5 and enterprise-grade SSD-related PCB products.
He noted that as industry leaders like Taiwan's Unimicron prioritize capacity allocation for high-value ABF substrates and reduce their focus on BT substrates, some BT substrate orders may shift to Korean manufacturers, creating new growth opportunities for Daeduck Electronics and Simmtech.
Additionally, Jukan emphasized that SOCAMM is emerging as a new growth variable. With NVIDIA's next-generation AI platform Vera Rubin GPU and Vera CPU set to enter the shipment phase, demand for SOCAMM PCBs is expected to rise. Related suppliers Simmtech and TLB are likely to benefit, further driving growth in the AI infrastructure supply chain.
