Senate today unanimously passed the Doug LaMalfa Federal Disaster Tax Relief Certainty Act, bipartisan legislation named for the late California GOP Congressman Doug LaMalfa who died in January, that extends tax benefits for victims of natural disasters. The House passed the bill (LaMalfa was an original sponsor), by voice vote in April. Now heads to President Trump to signed into law.(Craig Caplan)
