Foresight News reports that the on-chain venture capital layer Umia has announced it will conduct an auction for UMIA tokens at the end of August 2026, with the exact date to be announced later. The auction will be priced in USDC, with a starting price of $0.12 per token. The price will increase based on demand, and the final transaction price will become the on-chain spot price. Unused funds will be refunded. According to the tokenomics model, UMIA has an initial total supply of 50 million tokens, divided into two parts: 40 million tokens for release supply (80%) and 10 million tokens for performance reserve with price thresholds (20%). Of the 40 million release supply tokens: - 17.3 million tokens (approximately 34.6% of the initial total supply) will be allocated for public auction, making it the largest single distribution. These tokens will be fully liquid from day one, with no lock-up period. - 10.15 million tokens (approximately 20.3%) will be allocated to supporters (Backers), with a 12-month lock-up period followed by linear release over 36 months. - 3.45 million tokens (approximately 6.9%) will be allocated for liquidity provision on Uniswap to support protocol-owned treasury market-making liquidity. - 3.1 million tokens (approximately 6.2%) will be allocated to the protocol treasury, held by the protocol-owned treasury. - 3 million tokens (approximately 6%) will be allocated to service providers, with no lock-up period and linear release over 24 months. - 2.5 million tokens (approximately 5%) will be allocated to the team, with a 12-month lock-up period and linear release over 36 months, of which 25% will be liquid at issuance. - 500,000 tokens (approximately 1%) will be allocated for incentives, also held by the protocol-owned treasury.
