UPDATE: Chainlink’s innovations in the Bank of England’s Synchronisation Lab continue to accelerate. We've now shown how the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) unlocks synchronized settlement between central bank money and tokenized assets on public ledgers. Three key custom components were built on top of CRE: 1. A Chainlink Labs Synchronisation Operator UI to initiate transactions, build onchain instructions, and track status. 2. A CRE UI showing the activity across deployed CRE workflows. 3. A central bank UI to confirm transactions. Together, these enable an operator to seamlessly and securely coordinate settlement across traditional payment systems and onchain environments leveraging Chainlink infrastructure.(Chainlink)
