According to NADA NEWS, Japan's Financial Services Agency (FSA) completed an organizational restructuring on August 7, establishing a new 'Crypto Assets and Stablecoins Department' dedicated to regulating crypto assets and stablecoins. Toshiaki Adomi has been appointed as the first head of the department. This new department is part of the newly formed Asset Management and Insurance Bureau, upgraded from the previous department responsible for regulating crypto assets, blockchain, and financial innovation. The FSA previously stated that this restructuring aims to strengthen regulatory capabilities for financial innovation and digital technology development, while incorporating areas like crypto assets, stablecoins, payment settlements, and other fintech sectors into the new regulatory framework. https://(wublock123.com)/news/japan-fsa-creates-crypto-stablecoin-regulatory-unit-66097
