BTC keeps grinding into NFP-day today.
I think we can all agree this week has been slow on Bitcoin, and PA looks garbage.
It's not new that NFP-week can be slow and low volatility, so next week we can expect more action.
For trades today, the thing is we have obvious liquidity to both sides here.
Liquidity has been stacking above the 65.4K highs until 68.1K, and we still have those equal lows + stacked liquidity towards the 60K region.
Price has been grinding/chopping upwards all week, and I'm not positioning long in these conditions.
I'm still leaning to the downside because open-interest was completely flat during this grind up + spot CVD shows sellers are still dominant overall.
Obvious liquidity is something I do not take trades from, so I'm letting my shorts from last week run and wait until NFP is released.
If we get a little dump before NFP, and then a trap-pump after NFP I might scale a little short after the trigger.
If price pumps and gets acceptance after NFP, I'm not touching it for today.
Imo in these kind of conditions the best thing is to wait, and see which liquidity gets taken first instead of trying to predict it.
Never fomo, the market will give enough opportunities.(Lennaert Snyder)
