[JPMorgan: Optical Module CAGR Reaches 28%, NPO/CPO to Account for One-Quarter by 2030] Deep Tide TechFlow reports, according to Tide Research, JPMorgan's August 6 research note cited LightCounting's latest forecast, predicting that the data communication market will achieve a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 28% from 2025 to 2030, with market size increasing from $20 billion to over $70 billion. The 1.6T product segment represents the largest growth driver, with a CAGR of approximately 120%, contributing around $40 billion by 2030. After incorporating the NPO/CPO market into the addressable market calculation, it is expected to exceed $18 billion by 2030, accounting for more than 25% of the data center communication market share. The telecom and data center interconnect market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 18%, reaching $9 billion by 2030. In the short-term financial report perspective, JPMorgan believes COHR has the highest performance certainty, with revenue and profit margins expected to continue improving. Concerns about LITE are deemed excessive, as its valuation corresponds to only 22 times the 2028 EPS, leaving room for upside surprises. FN requires guidance for the September quarter to boost confidence. Regarding customer dynamics, Google is expected to become the largest optical device purchaser by 2030, while Meta will lead NPO/CPO deployments. NVIDIA's short-term market share for 1.6T products is projected to rebound to 25%, but its long-term share is expected to decline from 18% to 12%.
