According to CoinDesk, the U.S. Senate has yet to schedule a procedural vote on the CLARITY Act, with only two session days remaining before the summer recess. Provisions in the bill regarding illicit finance, agriculture, and restrictions on government officials profiting from the crypto industry are still under negotiation. If progress isn't made before the recess, deliberations may be pushed to September, leaving only about 14 working days before the midterm elections, and the bill could potentially be delayed until after the elections.
