[Glassnode: Bitcoin Bottom Conditions Are Forming but Not Yet Complete, Options Market Not Pricing Any Direction]
In its latest weekly report, Glassnode pointed out that while global stock markets and gold have reached all-time highs, Bitcoin has remained relatively stagnant. During the Coldcard incident on July 31, approximately 594 BTC (around $38 million) were stolen within 25 minutes, with on-chain activity persisting for several days. The amount of Bitcoin unmoved for over a year surged by about 119,000 BTC within three days—roughly 200 times the stolen amount. However, only about one-tenth of this entered exchanges, leaving the market price largely unaffected.
The current crypto market is approaching a bottom through "boredom" rather than panic selling. The 30-day moving average of seller exhaustion is at a cycle low for this round, situated in the historical bottom formation zone. However, it remains about one-third higher than the ultimate bottoms of previous bear markets, indicating that the final capitulation phase has not yet been completed.
