Retreat Drive in East Rural St. Andrew, represented by MP Hon. Juliet Holness, is now complete under the SPARK Programme, and I am proud to see the difference this investment is making for the people who use this road every day. This was not a simple resurfacing project. We fully reconstructed the road with proper drainage, retaining walls, walkways, and quality engineering to ensure it is safer, stronger, and built to last. Across Jamaica, about 340 roads are now in different stages of construction and completion under the SPARK Programme, with 110 already finished. While we know there is still much more to do, we are taking a planned and systematic approach to improving the roads that connect our communities. I know every Jamaican wants to see the road in front of their home improved, and we are working every day to make that happen.
