So, is August the best summer month? 1) On July 28, I talked here: https://(((x.com)))/qinbafrank/status/2081932910735810691?s=46&t=k6rimWsEbo2D2tXolYcM-A about many assets entering a high cost-performance ratio range, making them suitable for gradual buying. 2) On July 29, I discussed here: https://(((x.com)))/qinbafrank/status/2082147612120285191?s=46&t=k6rimWsEbo2D2tXolYcM-A that it’s no longer appropriate to be overly pessimistic. If prices drop further, it’s actually a better opportunity to look for chances. At the time, I mentioned that the Fed not raising interest rates would drive market recovery, CSP gross profit exploding, and shorter payback cycles—these are the main catalysts for the next market rally. Looking back now, isn’t that exactly what’s happening? 3) Last Thursday night, July 30, U.S. stocks surged. Many thought it was just a rebound, but in my July 31 evening post, I clearly stated that the July 30 rally wasn’t just a rebound—the upward trend has at least a weekly-level duration. I was explicitly optimistic about August’s market performance. 4) Last week’s tweets also clearly pointed out the directions I’m optimistic about: CSP value re-evaluation and software (the bullish logic for CSP and software has been discussed since early July). I also believe storage has room to grow, and I’m optimistic about optical interconnects and packaging/testing. These are all gradually being validated. Today, there’s news again: https://(((x.com)))/qinbafrank/status/2084834326613840376?s=46&t=k6rimWsEbo2D2tXolYcM-A that Oman and Iran’s negotiations have made progress. If an agreement is reached, it means the impact of oil prices on the market will fade. This would make the upward trend even more solid.
