Providing safe and dignified shelter for Jamaicans affected by Hurricane Melissa remains a priority. As we install container homes for families in need, we are ensuring that these solutions are properly equipped and built with the necessary support systems. These units are not just about placing a container on a piece of land. They include the foundation, electrical connections, water storage, proper plumbing, wastewater systems and septic tanks to ensure families can live in a safe and comfortable environment. While these homes provide a temporary solution, we must still do things the right way.
