According to Wu Blockchain, on-chain analyst Specter posted that after tracking a wallet that had been dormant since 2017 and recently transferred 1,020 BTC (approximately $60 million), they identified a cluster of addresses suspected to be linked to the Qian Zhimin case. This cluster collectively holds about 28,555 BTC, valued at approximately $1.8 billion. Most of the wallets in question have shown little activity since June 2021. Previously, the London Metropolitan Police stated that they seized around 61,000 BTC during their investigation into Qian Zhimin, who was accused of defrauding over 128,000 investors through the Blue Sky Greentech investment scam between 2014 and 2017. Specter noted that current on-chain evidence cannot confirm who controls these addresses now or whether they have been identified or seized by law enforcement agencies.
