[Coinbase International Exchange Institutional Clients to Migrate to Deribit on September 9, with 30-Minute Downtime] According to CryptoSlate, Coinbase International Exchange institutional clients are scheduled to migrate to Deribit on September 9. During the migration, accounts, balances, and positions will be transferred to Deribit, while any open orders will be canceled. Positions will be settled at market price and rebuilt on Deribit. Clients unwilling to migrate must close their positions and close their accounts by August 28; otherwise, they will be deemed to have accepted the migration. On the migration day, there will be approximately 30 minutes of downtime, during which positions will be settled at the mark price and rebuilt on Deribit through matched migration trades. Existing API keys will not be usable on Deribit, and clients will need to update endpoints and credentials. Historical data will remain accessible via the old API for approximately 12 months but will not be migrated to Deribit.
