THE BLOCK: Aztec Foundation, the nonprofit behind the privacy-focused Ethereum Layer 2 network, laid off 18 employees, or roughly 55% of its workforce, a source with direct knowledge told The Block. Co-founder and CEO Zachary Williamson said last week that Aztec was "now a team of 15" after "a substantial restructure" earlier this year, without disclosing the number of layoffs.
