Ukraine has now reached a new level of cooperation with its key partners in the military sphere – namely, the Drone Deals format. Through the Drone Deals format, Ukraine receives long-term, annual funding for the country and for Ukrainian defense manufacturers – a stable financial foundation for the defense industry. Our partners, in turn, receive modern defense capabilities. Drone Deals have now been concluded with 9 countries, and another 15 agreements are in the works. Rustem Umerov will continue to coordinate all of this work. To give him greater capacity to focus specifically on matters at the intersection of diplomacy and defense – as well as on the negotiation process with the United States and other designated partners, and on negotiations to end Russia’s war – Rustem Umerov will be appointed Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.
