Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on August 3, according to LatePost, Ant Group's embodied intelligence company Lingbo Technology has launched its first round of financing, aiming to raise 1.5 billion yuan and striving to complete a second round of financing by the end of this year. The report indicates that Lingbo has already established a relatively comprehensive layout in the brain chain related to robot perception, understanding, and action, covering areas such as vision, depth, mapping, video, world models, VA, and VLA. As a result, it has attracted attention from multiple investment institutions even before the financing began.
The report notes that funding in the embodied intelligence sector is currently accelerating toward the "embodied brain" direction. Ant Lingbo is regarded as the core vehicle for Ant Group in the embodied and physical AI field, with Ant continuing to provide support in AI infrastructure, data assets, and application scenarios. One of the key goals of this financing round is to accelerate the development of Lingbo's embodied brain.
The report also mentions that Lingbo's future valuation will depend on factors such as model generalization capabilities, real-world deployment and data flywheel effects, and whether it can grow into a global foundational platform for physical AI models.
