[China-Led Blockchain International Standard Approved as an ISO Project]
According to CCTV News, the international standard led by China, *'Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology: Technical Framework and Functional Requirements for Blockchain-as-a-Service,'* has recently been approved as a project by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan, Portugal, and Uganda will participate in its development.
The standard will define technical requirements in three key areas:
1. **Infrastructure and Network**: Standardizing the construction and operation of underlying resources and blockchain networks.
2. **Service Management and Smart Contracts**: Unifying platform service catalogs and the full lifecycle management processes of contracts.
3. **Data Interaction and Security Protection**: Specifying on-chain data access, privacy protection, and security compliance mechanisms.
