Recently, Bitcoin's major fluctuations have almost all been related to Strategy. Ever since Michael first sold 32 bitcoin:native, the market has gradually started to view MSTR's Bitcoin sales as negative news for the market. Just yesterday, it was reported that they plan to sell $5 billion worth of BTC. But personally, I think there's no need to be overly pessimistic. First of all, MSTR selling BTC, just like buying it, isn't done on the secondary market. In plain terms, when MSTR was buying BTC, it didn't cause much of a price increase, so the actual impact of selling it isn't that significant either. The main reason seems to be investor sentiment, which, of course, is also heavily tied to Michael going back on his word. Initially, he said they wouldn't sell BTC, then he said they wouldn't be net sellers of BTC, and now he's not saying either of those things. So, I also believe that over time, the strong correlation between MSTR and Bitcoin will continue to weaken. That said, under these circumstances, there's not much point in buying MSTR either. After all, the proceeds from selling Bitcoin are being used to buy back preferred shares. But personally, I'm not very interested in STRC-type stocks. If it drops to around $70, it might be worth buying, but anything above $90 feels a bit overpriced to me. @Gate Crypto, US stocks, Hong Kong stocks, Korean stocks, gold, CFDs, prediction markets—all-in-one trading platform.
