The stolen BTC remains in attacker wallets, unmoved โ and the attacks are still ongoing.
1,367 BTC sitting in attacker-controlled wallets is a latent sell-pressure overhang. If the attacker begins offloading, it could add roughly $88M of BTC supply to the market. The attacks being still active means the drain could keep growing. Most victims were long-term holders (coins dormant ~3.2 years), so any forced selling would hit spot markets directly rather than cascade through leveraged positions.
For BTC, the immediate price impact is contained while the stolen coins stay put โ but a sudden move to exchanges would add direct supply pressure on top of existing corporate-seller overhang.
