Recently, a lot of friends have joined Planet, actively posting and interacting, bringing a new wave of attention and traffic to Planet. Huge thanks . At the same time, some questions have come up about how the creative incentives on Planet are distributed, and some are worried whether most of it goes to invited KOLs. Taking this opportunity, let’s chat about the actual situation.
This week’s top three incentive earners are all native creators on Planet, with relatively small follower counts on other platforms. 85% of the reward pool is also in the hands of native creators (non-invited KOLs). Planet’s reward system slightly favors original content created specifically for Planet. Content synced from other social media platforms is also rewarded, but content tailored for Planet readers gets a slightly higher weight. Invited KOL creators follow the same rules—content determines incentives.
Additionally, invited KOLs from social media and financial communities receive a separate startup bonus, which is independent of the creative incentive pool and doesn’t affect the portion distributed to everyone else. This arrangement aims to bring the experience and knowledge of market-tested creators to Planet’s users.
Here are two invitations:
1. If you enjoy writing, no matter your follower count, a thoughtful piece of content is your ticket in.
2. Experienced creators are welcome to join—we’ll provide support to help you get started.
By the way, here are answers to two common questions:
Q: Did the algorithm change in July?
A: Yes, we mainly addressed two types of accounts: those engaging in group-like-for-like behavior or lacking meaningful content ("farm accounts"), and those mass-producing or reposting AI-generated content ("AI accounts"). Using AI for translation, polishing, or research is totally fine; what matters is whether the content has value. This work will continue, and we welcome your feedback and suggestions.
Q: Why didn’t I receive any rewards?
A: If you think you meet the criteria but didn’t get rewarded, we apologize—this kind of gap is understandable. The incentive algorithm isn’t purely "traffic-based"; factors like interaction quality and originality are also considered. Additionally, frequent external linking or sensitive topics might trigger risk controls. Of course, the system might occasionally make "misjudgments." Feel free to reach out to us for verification, and we’ll make corrections.
Finally, OKX Planet is still in its early stages. We deeply appreciate your ongoing support and feedback. We warmly welcome everyone to share thoughts on Planet’s issues and development as we strive to provide users with a better trading and community experience.
