Wu Blockchain reports that the crypto industry policy organization Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI) has released a report stating that global crypto trading, talent, and infrastructure have significantly shifted outside the United States. The report reveals that around 80% of crypto developers worldwide now reside outside the U.S., with the U.S. share of global developers dropping from 38% to 19% over the past decade. From 2024 to 2025, the U.S. is expected to capture only 2% to 5% of the incremental trading volume on centralized exchanges globally. CCI believes that regions with clearer regulations, such as the EU, UAE, and Singapore, are attracting crypto licenses, companies, and jobs. They urge the U.S. to expedite legislation like the CLARITY Act to establish a digital asset market structure and reverse the ongoing industry outflow.
