HOODRAT pumped yesterday after Matt Furie followed and interacted, hitting a peak of 9m. Today, after multiple hits, it’s back to the 2.7m level.
The pullback has multiple reasons:
1. Profit-taking from the bottom (bottom at 400k, peak at 9m);
2. BSC counterattack causing funds to flow out of the Robinhood chain;
3. Controversy over whether Matt Furie’s account was hacked.
The first two are normal phenomena, but I’ll share my thoughts on the third point.
Matt Furie has been hacked a few times this year. Suddenly following @hoodrat_coin and interacting does seem a bit suspicious, but from certain perspectives, it’s also somewhat reasonable.
From an artistic standpoint, @hoodrat_coin’s video quality is top-notch (personally, I think it’s the no.1 on the RB chain), and it’s been around for almost a month. It’s possible that its artistic level has gained recognition from the artist.
On the other hand, if the account was hacked, it would make more sense to directly post a contract address to scam money. Why bother interacting with a meme that doesn’t have their own tokens? That doesn’t quite add up.
Of course, since I’m a holder, my perspective is naturally biased. Everyone should trust their own judgment.
