According to Digitalasset, South Korea's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) under the Financial Services Commission held a working consultation with the Korea Communications Standards Commission regarding information on overseas virtual asset operators that have not been reported. FIU stated that Binance has stopped providing Korean language services and marketing targeted at Korean users, and therefore has been excluded from the review scope. However, the Korea Communications Standards Commission pointed out that excluding major digital asset exchanges like Binance from regulatory oversight solely because they do not offer Korean language services could raise concerns about regulatory fairness. The two parties also discussed the criteria for blocking websites of overseas virtual asset operators. The Korea Communications Standards Commission argued that blocking an entire website solely due to non-reporting could lead to excessive regulation disputes and suggested prioritizing the review of websites confirmed to have caused specific harm to users. FIU responded that it would conduct an internal review and report back. https://(wublock123.com)/news/south-korea-regulators-divide-over-binance-site-blocking-65651
