[Meta Report Indicates Future Spending Commitments Near $700 Billion, Covering AI Data Centers and Cloud Computing] According to a report by CaiLian News Agency, Meta stated that it has committed nearly $700 billion in future spending through long-term and short-term agreements, covering areas such as artificial intelligence data centers and cloud computing. In a regulatory filing on Thursday, Meta disclosed that the company has $349.3 billion in irrevocable contractual commitments, primarily involving third-party cloud service agreements, servers, and network infrastructure. Additionally, the company has $347 billion in lease commitments that have not yet commenced and are not reflected on the balance sheet. Of this, $68 billion was added in July alone, with payments set to begin in 2027 and 2028. These costs are outside of existing active leases and cover data centers, hosting facilities, and 'certain network infrastructure.'
