Sure enough, Walsh didn’t raise rates, just kept running his mouth. Last night: rates unchanged + hawkish talk (buying time). Market expectations: pump first, then dump. The most obvious example is gold. Around midnight last night, gold stopped dropping and started to rebound. By around 1 AM, buying pressure picked up. It felt like insider trading—once the rate decision was confirmed, it shot straight to 4120. My long position, which was stuck for 4 days, finally broke even. But this morning, the U.S. is talking about bombing Iran again. Short-term market is still choppy, no clear trend! Tonight, we’ve got PCE data coming up. This is the June PCE data and the last key data point for July. Expectations are bullish, which could push the market higher. Today’s plan: buy the dips and hold until tonight’s data. bitcoin:native
