Safe processed nearly 130 million transactions in a single quarter, setting a record, but revenue decreased by over 30% compared to the previous quarter
According to BlockBeats, on July 29th, the latest report from the cryptocurrency wallet protocol Safe showed that it processed nearly 130 million transactions in the second quarter, created over 63 million accounts, a year-on-year increase of 20%, and stored approximately $1 out of every $48 of global stablecoin supply in Safe. However, this quarter's revenue dropped to approximately $1.98 million, lower than the $2.88 million in the first quarter, and the decline may be related to pressure on cryptocurrency prices. The report shows that consumer apps on World Chain and Polygon contributed the majority of Safe trading volume this quarter, with World App accounting for 52% and Polymarket accounting for 35.7%. In addition, the on chain secure network Safenet beta launched by Safe in April has processed 456000 transaction checks as of the end of the quarter, with security provided by pledged SAFE tokens. Currently, the pledged amount is about 54.8 million. (The Block) [Original link]
