How many people have been crowned as 'gods' this year? I know of three so far. One was the bitcoin:native trader—used to be hyped as super impressive, but now almost no one talks about them. Another was the 'ByteDance stock god,' which eventually turned into a massive drama fest. And then there’s the 'white-haired stock god,' who also seems to have faded from the spotlight.
I’m just an ordinary person who doesn’t understand the moves of these so-called gods. In my eyes, data and macro trends matter more. I only trust what I can comprehend, which is why I’ve been shorting oil—this is already my sixth round.
I noticed South Korea’s data is looking terrible, and leverage is way too high, so I shorted SK Hynix. But I don’t dare hold it long-term, settling positions daily, because the market is just too unpredictable.
I saw massive funds buying the dip on Bitcoin at $60,000, so I used dual-currency products and options to trade Bitcoin’s range. This way, even if the dip-buying works out, I can still make decent returns.
Totally agree with what @逃课君 said: there are no gods in the market, we’re all just students. If gods really existed, there’d be no point in hanging around in the human world. I believe many more people will be temporarily worshipped as gods in the future, but honestly, they might not even be as effective as one tweet from Trump.
