Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on July 28, according to TechCrunch, AI voice model company Fish Audio announced the completion of a $50 million seed round funding led by Coreline Ventures and Capital Today, with participation from 359 Capital, Parable, Play Time, and other institutions. The company stated that its open-source and hosted models have accumulated over 8 million users, with annual recurring revenue reaching $21 million. Over the past year, Fish Audio has launched five models, including four voice generation models and one speech-to-text model, three of which are open-source. The latest S2.1 Pro model is offered through a paid API. The company's products cater to creators, developers, and enterprise clients, with applications spanning AI virtual avatars, game character voiceovers, and voice agents. Addressing previous issues of unauthorized voice uploads on its platform, Fish Audio stated that it has automated the takedown process. Rights holders can submit voice samples or relevant contracts, and the process can be completed within three minutes. Looking ahead, the company plans to introduce audio comprehension models and voice-to-voice models.
