NEW: @DCGco-owned @FortitudeCrypto has committed about $45 million to mining equipment and Nebraska infrastructure as it accelerates its pivot toward @Zcash zcash:native
Key data:
• $31.5 million in mining-equipment commitments
• $13.9 million for power contracts, land, facilities and equipment in Nebraska
• A $26 million DCG credit facility carrying an 11% interest rate
• 72,696 zcash:native mined in 1H2026
Fortitude says its company-controlled data-center capacity has increased to more than 60 megawatts.
The strategy is designed to give the miner greater control over power, hosting and deployment costs as Zcash overtakes Bitcoin as its largest source of mining revenue.
Zcash generated 61% of Fortitude’s first-quarter mining revenue, up from 11% a year earlier. The infrastructure buildout comes ahead of its proposed merger with Nasdaq-listed HeartSciences.
