EIP-7928, Block-level Access Lists, reaches devnet-7 support, pre-mainnet testing on the road to Glamsterdam. The EIP lets a builder declare storage accesses up front so independent transactions execute in parallel instead of one after another. Nethermind's client-side implementation keeps advancing alongside it: a verify-only fast path, an account-presence bitmap, and real allocation cuts across the generate and validate paths. eth/71 ships alongside it, the wire protocol that lets peers exchange BALs directly instead of only getting them from the consensus client through the Engine API. EIP-8037, co-authored by Nethermind's @URozmej, rounds out the same track, metering gas for state growth.(Nethermind)
