[AI Robotics Company Enigma Completes $71 Million Seed Round Funding, Co-Led by Index Ventures and Ribbit Capital]
According to TechFlow's report on July 28, as cited by VentureBurn, physical AI robotics company Enigma announced the completion of a $71 million seed round funding, co-led by Index Ventures and Ribbit Capital. Conviction Partners and notable individuals from AI organizations such as OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepMind, xAI, and Cognition also participated in the round. This funding comes just 11 months after the company's founding and marks one of the largest seed rounds in the physical AI sector. The funds will be used to expand the research and engineering team, enhance computational infrastructure, and accelerate the deployment of AI-driven technologies in more real-world applications. Enigma has already established over 100 proprietary robotic systems in California and Israel, aiming to lower the barrier to robot operation through natural language interaction. Its hardware-agnostic platform is compatible with various robotic devices, covering industries such as healthcare, retail, entertainment, and logistics.
