[SK Hynix Follows in SpaceX's Post-IPO Footsteps] According to Golden Finance, on July 28, SK Hynix (SKHY.O) American Depositary Receipts (ADR) fell to a record low since its listing on Monday. Earlier this month, the company debuted on the U.S. stock market with a fundraising scale of $26.5 billion. However, as investors continued to exit the overvalued semiconductor sector, its stock price dropped significantly. During the trading session, it plunged as much as 10% to $139.01, well below its $149 offering price, and eventually closed at $143.02. With this, SK Hynix joins SpaceX and other stocks as one of the first companies among this year's largest U.S. IPOs to fall below its offering price. The semiconductor sector as a whole remains under pressure, with the closely watched semiconductor index extending its recent decline, closing at its lowest level since May 19. Meanwhile, the cost of providing default protection for NVIDIA (NVDA.O) corporate bonds has risen, as the value of a new wave of AI infrastructure deals could exceed $750 billion.
