[NVIDIA Invests Billions in AI Startup Safe Superintelligence and Establishes Long-Term Partnership]
According to the Financial Times, NVIDIA has announced a long-term partnership with Safe Superintelligence (SSI), an AI startup founded by OpenAI co-founder Ilya Sutskever, and has invested billions of dollars to support the company in expanding its AI computing infrastructure. SSI stated that it will adopt NVIDIA's latest-generation Vera Rubin platform, aiming to increase its available computing power tenfold within the next 12 months to advance its undisclosed AI research breakthroughs. Currently, SSI has only a few dozen employees and previously completed a $2 billion funding round in 2025, achieving a valuation of $32 billion. Investors include Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and others.
