For individual professional investors in Hong Kong, they usually need to have an investment portfolio of at least HK$8 million. So the ones getting access to BNB this time are mainly users with relatively large amounts of capital. In fact, many traditional investors don’t reject crypto assets; they just find account opening, funding, transferring coins, and custody too troublesome. They’re unwilling to step out of their trading comfort zone to make investments. Now Futu has integrated these steps into the brokerage accounts they’re already familiar with.
