Tom Lee: Long-term target price for ETH 2.0 set at $250,000
On July 13, 2026, BitMine Chairman Tom Lee stated at WebX 2026 in Tokyo, Japan, that ETH is entering the 2.0 phase. Drawing comparisons to the '2.0' revaluation of Amazon, Nvidia, and JP Morgan, he believes Ethereum will evolve into a currency, playing the role of a settlement layer in the era of the 'Valley of Wealth Terror' and AI agents. The long-term target price for ETH could reach $250,000. BitMine currently holds 5.74 million ETH, accounting for 4.8% of the supply. The company has led investments in ETH Labs and Ethereum Institutional and will continue supporting spin-off projects, public goods, and the Ethereum ecosystem while keeping its holdings under 5%.
