[South Korean Pension Funds Turn Net Buyers of KOSPI for the First Time This Year, Heavy Position in SK Hynix] Odaily Planet Daily News – According to data from the Korea Exchange, pension funds, including the National Pension Service (NPS), one of the largest institutional investors in the South Korean stock market, have turned net buyers in the Korean stock market for the first time this month. Data from the Korea Exchange shows that as of July 24, the National Pension Service and other pension funds have cumulatively made net purchases of KOSPI index constituent stocks worth 68.4 billion won (approximately $46.8 million) since July. This marks the first monthly net purchase by pension funds this year after six consecutive months of net selling. Among individual stocks, SK Hynix has been the most purchased stock by pension funds since July, with a net purchase amount reaching 425.8 billion won. (Jin10)
