**[Main Street: Coverage Ratio Valuation Near 100%, Plans to Initiate Open Market Buyback in Approximately 30 Days]** Foresight News reports that Main Street has provided updates on liquidity and recovery progress. After evaluating methods to provide liquidity to holders (including limited early liquidation combined with open market token purchases and destruction), the protocol's coverage ratio (excluding the insurance fund) based on current valuations is now close to 100%. Following consultation with legal advisors, the team believes it is currently inappropriate to conduct transactions that would temporarily lower the coverage ratio. As a result, early liquidation or large-scale buybacks cannot be executed. According to the maturity schedule, the first batch of substantial liquidity for the remaining "box positions" is expected to arrive in over 30 days. At that time, based on updated coverage calculations and favorable market conditions, the team plans to place limit orders in the open market to purchase tokens and permanently destroy them. Meanwhile, the official team is designing a Morpho redemption mechanism to restrict msY transfers within affected Morpho contracts and introduce a dedicated redemption process to prevent unfairness caused by first-come-first-serve scenarios and high accumulated interest due to prolonged full utilization rates. The related design is still subject to final legal, technical, and security reviews as well as independent audits. Foresight News previously reported that the algorithmic stablecoin Main Street USD (MSUSD), pegged to the US dollar, experienced a depeg in June, with its price plummeting over 80% to as low as $0.064.
