Let me tell you a story, You might see why I come across as “impulsive” with my bullish view. It’s not impulsiveness, it’s the result of experience and the hard lessons of the past. If you don’t learn from your own mistakes, you’ll just keep repeating them and get nowhere. I’ve been trading for 7 years. I’m 26 and started when I was 19. My first real cycle was 2021. I hit the jackpot with Solana while I was still relatively new to the space. When BTC was in a bear market, hovering around 30k on the way to 16k, I studied the historical cycles and retracements religiously. Like almost everyone else, I was targeting the 10-12k zone. Anyone who was around at the time will remember, practically the entire market was aiming for that exact price range. That would have been an 80-82% drop, exactly what every previous cycle had delivered. We only dropped 76%. I got front-run. I ended up buying spot at 37k. My biggest mistake was trying to be too precise, attempting to time the absolute bottom to the dollar. Humility is the foundation of real learning. It forces you to accept that you don’t know everything. I’ve come a long way since then. I’ve learned from a lot of painful experiences, errors, and mistakes. My only goal now is to help prevent others from making the same ones I did. I wish someone had told me these things earlier, it would have saved me a lot of time and a lot of money. Even though I’ve played this cycle’s bull and bear almost to perfection, it was only possible because I learned from those past failures. I know we could still test the low 50s. I know we could even deviate below 50s. But I will not try to time the “perfect” entry like I did last time. That approach failed miserably. Buying after a 53% drop is already more than good enough, especially when cycle drawdowns have been getting progressively shallower. Even if we drop another 10-15%, I’ll only be in minor drawdown with massive upside still ahead. So yes, I’m stubbornly bullish. Not because I’m reckless, but precisely because of the mistakes I made before. I don’t want people repeating them. Plenty will still think they know better and will learn the hard way (something almost every trader goes through). The goal was never to catch exact tops and bottoms. It’s simply to scale in when the RR is already heavily in your favour. Hopefully you can take something from this. Quote: “A wise man never knows all, only fools know everything.”(Killa)
