Big market swings coming next week—can Bitcoin stay unaffected?
On the international front, oil prices have surged nearly 10%, tech stocks are facing concentrated sell-offs by institutions, and U.S. Treasury yields have hit a yearly high. These three pressure points remain unresolved, and next week’s busiest week of Q2 earnings season for U.S. stocks will overlap with the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision, creating the most explosive market catalyst combo of the year so far.
Google’s impressive earnings report was followed by two consecutive days of stock price drops—totally unexpected. If U.S. tech stocks collectively tumble next week due to earnings reports and the Fed’s rate decision, will Bitcoin also be dragged down by the stock market and hit new lows?
Bitcoin is already in a downward consolidation trend, and if there’s any additional bearish news, the price is very likely to drop further. The strong gravitational level at 61,500 isn’t out of reach!
