To be honest, the chances of this thing making a comeback are pretty slim. First, times have changed. The airdrop phase is basically over. Small projects are too stingy to spend money, and big projects don’t need to promote on this platform—it’s just useless. Second, old problems persist. I’ve said it before: fake data and manual manipulation are the two deadliest issues. This so-called AI ranking platform has both, and even after being exposed, they still refuse to admit it. Third, projects have wised up. Project teams now realize that running campaigns on this platform costs real money but only results in a flood of AI-generated posts and trash talk. Even if they dominate Twitter threads, all they’ll get is people saying, “Trash farming project, not worth it,” and a ruined reputation. Fourth, Twitter’s regulations. This platform was previously banned by Twitter because “Twitter no longer allows any apps that reward users for posting on X,” aka the InfoFi model. Paying for the API this time won’t solve the core issue. Its operating model still violates Twitter’s new rules, so unless they change, another ban is just a matter of time. In the end, this project should just call it quits and leave with some dignity. Though, let’s be real, the dignity’s long gone~
