[Report: Bitcoin May Be Nearing Cycle Bottom, Multiple Indicators Emit Rare Signals]
Blockworks researcher Luke Leasure released a report indicating that Bitcoin may be at or near its cycle low. BTC has fallen 50% from its all-time high, and the bear market has lasted over 40 weeks, with multiple high-timeframe indicators simultaneously reaching historically rare levels. This month, Bitcoin recorded its most severe relative oversold reading against the Nasdaq in history, and February also set a record for relative oversold levels against gold. The realized price (on-chain average cost basis) is approximately $53,000, only 18% below the spot price, and historically, every bear market low has traded at a discount below this level.
The report notes that historical bear market cycles typically bottom around the 60th week after the all-time high, suggesting that the cycle low for this period could occur before the end of November 2026. If historical patterns hold, it may take approximately 120 weeks for Bitcoin to reclaim its previous high, implying a new all-time high could be reached before February 2028.
