According to Digital Asset, a South Korean court will issue its first trial verdict on August 27 regarding the Bithumb mistaken Bitcoin transfer incident. The user involved is accused of selling mistakenly received BTC and holding approximately 194 million KRW in cash. Bithumb previously filed lawsuits against four users for the return of unjust enrichment, with the case amount reaching up to 500 million KRW. Back in February, Bithumb mistakenly credited Bitcoin instead of KRW points during a promotional reward distribution.
