[Analyst: Brent Crude Oil May Reach $100 Per Barrel if Tensions Persist]
Odaily Planet Daily News – Phillip Nova analyst Priyanka Sachdeva stated in a report that if tensions continue to escalate, Brent crude oil prices could surge to $100 per barrel. She noted that while the market is currently facing logistical risks rather than actual crude oil losses, this distinction could quickly narrow if attacks persist. Sachdeva pointed out that the greatest risk to the energy market would be prolonged traffic disruptions simultaneously in the Mandeb Strait and the Strait of Hormuz. She added that, at that point, the market's flexibility in rerouting shipments would be extremely limited, and shipping disruptions could rapidly evolve into broader inflationary issues. (Jin10)
