The nice thing about Bitcoin consensus battles is you need not participate. You can sit on the sideline & end up with coins on both forks, ensuring you'll still hold real BTC. But if you're going to fight, you'd best be willing to put your BTC on the line. Bluffing won't work.(Jameson Lopp)
